I guess I'll introduce you to our pets in the order that we got them. Prince and Snowflake were the first to come into the Sickles household on September 21, 2006. I gave Snowflake to Hannah on her birthday and Prince to Madison (early birthday present). They were 7 wks old when we got them. Snowflake sleeps in Hannah's bed every night and then in the morning goes outside. Prince sleeps wherever.
Oliver and Jewel came next. They were about 4 wks when we got them. Some of the guys at FOA found them in a dumpster and I just couldn't resist them. I bottle fed them until they could eat solid food. They came around April 2007. When Oliver was little he would crawl up on me and sleep in the crook of my neck.
Like I said in our profile, they act more like dogs than cats. Most cats are independent, but all of ours to some degree are different. Prince especially. He follows me everywhere. He will follow me down the road to the barn to feed the horses and then follows me back home when I'm done. If I walk down to my mom's house (which is one house down), he'll follow me and then sit at the door and wait for me. It's so funny!
Last, but not least, Shena came for Christmas of 2007. She was a gift from Madison and Hannah's Aunt Jemma who lives in Texas. She is a quarter/paint horse. She is beautifully built and spirited. The girls enjoy riding on her in the round pen.
